On Day 2 of my Mysuru journey, I started my morning at the divine Chamundeshwari Temple atop Chamundi Hills. With flowers and coconuts for puja (₹300), I joined devotees celebrating centuries of faith and legend.
According to Hindu mythology, Goddess Chamunda, an incarnation of Durga, destroyed the demon Mahishasura here — a tale that lives in Mysuru’s name.

Whether you trek up the stairs or drive to the top, the views and vibes are worth it. Visit early to experience serenity, devotion, and the golden sunrise over Mysuru. 🌄

🏔️ The Calm Before the Climb As the first light of dawn touched the Himalayan valley, Phakding slowly came alive. The faint sound of the Dudh Koshi River echoed through the pine forests, mingling with the flutter of prayer flags and the distant chatter of trekkers gearing up for the day ahead.
