The first 45 minutes of the trail were surprisingly easy and relaxing. The Himalayan weather shifted beautifully throughout the walk—cloudy skies, occasional sunshine, and a refreshing drizzle.  The trail from Namche to Kyangjuma is one of the most visually captivating stretches of the Everest region. With a mostly flat path and two hours still to our lunch stop, we enjoyed walking through a wild forest filled with ancient trees. Once we crossed the forest, we entered the peaceful mountain village of Kyangjuma , surrounded by mist and traditional homes. As we moved forward, the clouds grew darker — a clear sign that rain may join our journey. As I stepped out into the crisp Himalayan breeze, the peaks slowly lit up with golden light — a magical moment worth capturing.  Sri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery, formerly the Jaganmohan Palace, is among Mysore’s oldest royal mansions.
