 Our Everest Base Camp Trek led us to a peaceful lunch stop at River View Hotel, Phunki Thanga. Surrounded by the sound of the river and forest, this tiny lodge offers a cozy atmosphere for trekkers.

I ordered the veg chowmein, which was slightly oily but packed beautifully with flavor. These small food moments along the trail add to the real Himalayan experience.

🏔️ The Calm Before the Climb As the first light of dawn touched the Himalayan valley, Phakding slowly came alive.
