Tengboche Arrival: Hilltop Monastery, Room Hunt & Our Guesthouse Stay

 Tengboche stands proudly on a hilltop, offering a rare blend of silence, spirituality, and Himalayan views. When we arrived, the sacred Tengboche Monastery stood on my right—welcoming, peaceful, and timeless. Before exploring, we searched for a room. Trekkers Lodge was fully booked, but we soon found comfort at Tengboche Guesthouse.

The economy room surprised us: clean, warm, and equipped with a charging plug point, which is an unexpected luxury at altitude. This post shares our Tengboche experience, the search for a place to stay, and the small comforts that matter most during the Everest Base Camp trek.
